November's Theme

November has always held a special place in my heart. For starters - it is my birthday month (shoutout to the Scorpios!) so obviously one of the most important months of the year. I also always associate the month of November with browns and ambers and I personally think those colors look great on everyone. Which also means yes I ordered a few new “Espresso” colored clothes & accessories - it just felt mandatory?

It is also a season for slowing down. It is time when we are gentler with our bodies, lean into connection with others, eat foods that bring us comfort, and begin to welcome the quiet. As much as I absolutely love the summer months, there is something so grounding about the cooler seasons and getting to embrace the coziness that comes with them.

My theme specifically for this month is intention. This is something I always try to embrace as I move through my days but something about this season is calling me to be very specific about the way I speak to myself, how I move my body, the energy I give to others, my attitude towards life and how I present myself to the world. I think this has to do with the pull I feel to connect deeper and step into the best version of myself possible, but it is drawing me to re-focus on how to navigate this chapter.

A few things I am committing to this month to align with my intentions:

  • Be specific about attitude. Intentionally focus on what I can control, view the positive in every situation, and be grateful for opportunities to grow.

  • Trust in timing. I am a big believer that everything works out as it should, when it should. I’m channeling patience this month to trust that good things will happen in time.

  • Get dressed and be presentable. I want my baseline to always be put together. When I look good, I feel good and vibrate higher. Intentionally bringing that energy to November.

  • Meet my body where it’s at. I have felt chronically on the move and tired in my bones. I’m giving myself grace and allowing myself to rest and move as my body needs it instead of pushing and doing things that don’t serve me.

Especially as we move towards the holiday season, my goal is to intentionally focus on the things that help me elevate my wellbeing. Everyone deserves some self-generated TLC and the slow seasons call for that on blast. Encouraging you to take a moment and focus on your theme for this month and let that be your north-star over the next few weeks. It helps when things get a little overwhelming or chaotic to refocus your energy on productive ways to re-orient yourself.

Also, treat yourself to a cute little fall outfit or accessory - I've found it goes a long way. ;)

With Love,

ree
